Floating World(フローティングワールド) ＝ 浮世(UKIYO)

本来、浮世とは、「辛くはかない、変わりやすい世の中」を表した言葉。

しかし、江戸時代に享楽的な世界観が生まれ、

「はかない世の中であるのなら浮かれて遊ぼう」

という肯定的な意味で使われるようになったそうです。

フローティングワールドは、

そんな日本人の考えた２つの意味を併せ持つ「浮世の精神」の様な、

遊び心にインスパイアされ

A Japanese word ‘’Ukiyo”

Original meaning behind this word was “Our lives are tough, fleeting and inconsistent”.

In the Edo period, people started to become more optimistic and began to take this phrase as “If our lives are fleeting, why don’t we make the most of it and just ENJOY”

We are heavily inspired by the pop idea of UKIYO ideology and our concept is
