先住民族や北米の部族が伝統的に使用している文化的なアート・クラフトの一つです。
この装飾品は、夢を選別し、良い夢だけをキャッチし、悪い夢を阻止すると信じられています。
伝説によれば、夜になると空を飛び回る悪い夢がキャッチャーに引っかかり、網を通して良い夢だけが寝ている人に届くとされています。
近年はネイティブアメリカンの文化からインスパイアされたアートとして広く愛され、装飾品やインテリアとして使われています。

What is a Dreamcatcher…?
